As part of a comprehensive eye exam your pet will be evaluated for eye conditions such as, dry eye, corneal ulcer, glaucoma, genetic diseases and other eye problems, using advanced technology equipment.

Equine ophthalmic appointments are made through Animal Vision Center and are seen at Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center (Penryn) or Willow Oak Equine Clinic (Woodland)

  • Prior to scheduling an eye certification exam at our clinic, you are required to register with OFA.org. Follow the OFA registration instructions and contact their staff directly if you have an inquiry while registering. Link your information and your pet information to "Nick Faber."

  • Once the OFA registration has been done, please call, text, or email our clinic to schedule the appointment

Making the decision whether to pursue ophthalmic surgery for your pet can be overwhelming. Upon initial evaluation Dr. Faber will provide you with treatment options to guide you through this process.
